A journey, an expedition, a voyage ... The Empty by Thomas R. Ruffin transports readers by a vessel of skillfully crafted writings from the edge of reality to the depths of the mind of man. In this, his fourth volume of poetry and short essays, Ruffin explores the possibilities of extremes and the challenges and triumphs of humanity. A thinking man's handbook, The Empty captures emotions, explores them, analyzes them and releases them with full force leaving readers wholly enthralled. Ruffin writes, " ... with regard to the mind there are crevasses and canyons that we have not yet visited ... I am at the same time excited and afraid of what I might find there". Illustrator Joshua E. Rushing joins Ruffin again and together they unleash their most powerful work to date. The Empty will move readers from subtle stirring to immediate action.Über den Autor:
