After finding a pink shoe at the Spring of Tears of the medieval monastery on Mont Saint Odile in the Alsace, Vega Stern becomes entangled in the murder case of a young woman, identified as Sarah Parker. She gets more and more deeply drawn into the dark and mysterious past of the victim, which was marred by disturbing childhood memories, paranoia, restlessness, art theft during the Nazi era, and drug abuse. The quest to solve the mystery leads to New York, Strasbourg, Germany, and India, where works of art provide clues to finding the killer.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Cornelia Feye received her M.A. in Art History and Anthropology from the University of Tübingen, Germany. She taught Eastern and Western Art History at several colleges in San Diego, including Mesa, Grossmont, Miracosta, and UCSD. Her museum experience includes curating a Tibet Exhibition at the Mingei International Museum and being a museum educator at the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art in New York, as well as the San Diego Museum of Man, and the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. She was Manager of Docent programs at the San Diego Museum of Art for six years and is currently the School of the Arts and Arts Education Director at the Athenaeum, Music & Arts Library in La Jolla. She manages over 40 art instructors, who teach art classes at two campuses in La Jolla and San Diego. Her publications include art historical essays and reviews in English and German.
