Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

John Boyer has won multiple teaching awards during his 12 years in the Geography Dept. at Virginia Tech. He teaches World Regions and Geography of Wine, with an average class size of 600, but did a section of 2,700 last year! His classes are always in high demand, and he uses music videos, live web interaction, and slide shows to enhance learning. Boyer's undergrad and grad research is in the Virginia Wine industry, and he continues to receive small grants to continue research on vineyard site selection. He has published 3 editions of "The Plaid Avenger's World," "Drink This Now! wine guide," and 2 editions of the "Plaid Avenger" comic book.
