I wrote this book to prepare California high school English teachers to take the four CSET (California Subject Exam for Teachers) tests for teacher certification in English. These materials have proven invaluable for preparation. This text offers a review of the current high-school English curriculum in the areas of literature, language, grammar, reading, speech communication, theater arts, and multiculturalism as well as 100 practice exam questions. Note: I want to thank my readers for information concerning corrections and edits. We are currently undergoing a review in preparation for a second edition.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Jane Thielemann-Downs is a Professor of Education in the Department of Urban Education at the University of Houston-Downtown. She teaches courses in Reading / Language Arts and Educational Psychology and has been a member of the faculty for 21 years. Dr. Thielemann-Downs is certified to teach in Texas and in California.
