Chapter One

        44th

You were selected before you were elected
Had you notice the doors that were closed, you might have
forfeited the opportunity of focusing on the one's that were
    open
The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God
will not protect you, so, keep listening to the voice in you
The one who has selected you will continue to direct you
You have given hope and dreams to many in this Land and,
    in foreign Lands
You have turned non believers into believers
Outsiders into insiders saying in unison; yes we can.........
    change
You have brought joy to the world
In the eyes of many, you have risen, from obscurity to
    glory
You are a breath of hope
Because of you, unity has come to the fore front as the world
    faces an economic down turn
Nations are watching you as you carry the world upon your
    shoulders
    What a burden you bear
Your selector is still your director
Do not bear witness of the misfortunes of today but for what
    comes out of it tomorrow
    Greatness is in your path
You are the leader of the free world
You can be crowned as one of the greatest if not the greatest
Commander in Chief in this marvelous and glorious land
    of ours
    Your star has ascended

May God guide your footsteps to protect you and yours
from harm as he blesses you with the endeavors that he has
    bestowed upon you

    ELIMINATION OF A PEOPLE

    After all that was done

    All that was said

The pain and suffering that were caused, and
The pain and suffering that were endured, for
    The lives that were taken

    The homes that was broken

The families that were separated from their love ones

    Properties that were stolen

    The dignity that was stripped

    You expect me to forget?

    After hearing many cry, they took my pride;

You think you have heard it all

The rest of the story reveals more atrocities like,

Mass murders by executioners and willing civilians

    They voluntarily participated in genocide

Women and children were gather only to be slaughtered like
animals, while many congregated as if it were a concert or
    some kind of entertainment

Then again, to some sick, twisted minded person it was

    They took pictures to hang as trophies;

We are suppose to love one another not kill each other

Why do we destroy each other?

Why are we so obsessed in killing?

Why do we constantly inflict mental/physical pain on each
    other?
    Why?

     FIRST LADY

You are our lady of compassion

Twenty one months you showed nothing but love for your
    family without hesitation

You are our lady of Grace

You are out lady of Glamour

Your elegance and charm radiate throughout our universe

You are our lady of Calm

You stayed composed as darts were thrown at your
    husband

You gracefully embraced the force that tried to increase your
    adrenalin

    You are our First Lady

Our lady of tranquility, dignity, empathy, elegance and
    refinement

You have the coveted spot; it's your spot,

God will not give you more than you can handle, and you
    can handle it confidently

    A FOOL IN LOVE

We shared a friendship that transformed into love

I loved you equally as you loved me

    "So I thought"

    You fed me with lies

That will last until I am a hundred and sixty five

"To live that long would be extra punishment"

All those years I trusted you immensely

In retrospect, you were my confidant

You made a fool of me

The way you caressed me, now intrigues me

    You tried to possess me

You led me and bled me

In the name of love I followed unconsciously

I fell apart, as you left me with a broken heart

There were moments; I was bewildered and blue

Like a fool wondering what had come over you

Now I know exactly what I am going to do

Thanks, I owe it all to you

         A REMARKABLE MAN

There was an energetic and witty man

Who gave his love to every one

Never complained, couldn't give a damn about bureaucratic
    and sophisticated plans

Reached out his hand to the need of every passing man

He sang sweet songs every opportunity he had

Dance to the music like no other man

As the years came and vanished

    His energy started to diminished

    His wit remained aglow

He continued to let his love flow

    Desirous to go
