Marie Lepkowski, the main author of this book, proudly adopted many cats and kittens during her lifetime. She always delighted in teaching children what taking care of a pet involves. Marie's daughter, Ann and grand daughter, Margaret contributed to the writing for this book, and Ann developed the illustrations. This is the first of several forthcoming books based on Marie's lifetime experiences with many adopted and well-cared for pets.
