Murdoch Mole Digs for Gold (Early Reader) - Softcover

I enjoyed reading this book and guessing what Murdoch would do next (Gracie Hurley, aged 7 Kidaround.biz)

Themes: ideas, lots of mishaps, mischievous people, disappointment on learning the truth, happiness when doing something right, several smiles, a few 'oh no' moments, and yes I did need a tissue (Nayu's reading corner)

A lovely story which bridges the gap from picture book to chapter book perfectly, with its colourful layout and easily read enjoyable story. (Parents in Touch Parents in Touch)

The language is concise yet creative and the illustrations in both books support the story for young readers maybe struggling with some of the text. I have to confess to laughing out loud. A lovely, innovative series of books that I hope to see more prevalent in classrooms in the not too distant future. (The English Association)
