In The Healing Enigma: Demystifying Homeopathy, author Vinton McCabe writes: ''Western medicine is based upon the use of ever-stronger doses of allopathic drugs. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Vinton McCabe is the author of six books on the subject of health and healing. Most notably, he is the author of several books on the subject of homeopathy, including Homeopathy, Healing You (1998) and Practical Homeopathy (2000), both published by St. Martin's Press. Most recently, he is the author of Household Homeopathy, published in January of 2005 by Basic Health Publications. He is also the co-author, with Dr. Marc Grossman, of Greater Vision, a book on natural vision improvement, which was published in 2002 by Keats Publishing. He has studied homeopathy for the past twenty-five years, and served as a homeopathic educator for the past fifteen. He also served as the president of the Connecticut Homeopathic Association from the establishment of that non-profit organization in 1985 until his move to rural Connecticut in the year 2000. As the chief educator for that organization, he has been responsible for training thousands of laypeople and medical professionals alike in the basics of homeopathic philosophy and in the proper uses of homeopathic remedies.
