This book is full of life, pain, and passion, true stories and stories that I may have not experienced but someone has. I started this book because of the things that were going on in my life. Writing has always been a stress reliever for me and because I was under so much stress this is the way I was able to handle it. Not only was this experience stressful but it allowed me to open up my eyes to where I want to be, what kind of man I wanted to be with and where I was headed. I decided to turn this negative experience around and make it positive by helping others resolve emotional conflict weather it was rape, a relationship conflict or a conflict within one self. These things are expressed in this short but powerful book through short stories, poems and quotes. As you will see through all the pain, hurt and mayhem healing, forgiveness, love of self, my son and God is what saved my life. What or who will save yours? As a little girl, I always felt evil. I would write hate letters to my mother and sister. If anyone would annoy me or hit me, fighting them was the only option. I was a mean child that would never start trouble but definitely would end it. Later in life the anger became settled and there was no more fighting, and no more letters. It was then womanhood embraced me. I began to understand a bit more about life. I had no idea why I was so angry prior to this point but during high school, I became the nicest person you would have wanted to meet. Experiencing an entire 360, I suppressed my anger and decided to try something different. Once I started considering the needs of others first, people began taking advantage of my newly found kindness. After high school I continued in this mannerism because it seemed to work for myself as well as others. Since pleasing others appeared to be the solution, this is what I decided to do. I was good at this and people adapted to me because of my great personality. Although I had yet to find myself, I knew pleasing others was not the answer. Growing up and living on my own caused me to experience some things in life. After having my son, I began to come into myself. Eventually, I understood. I don't have to please others, be nice all the time, nor do I have to be evil. I soon began to put it all together. I can be who I am and please myself and it's okay. It's not being selfish; it's using all of me at one time instead of parts of me. I discovered I am more powerful when I can use 100 percent instead of 20 percent of Angelic. In doing this, I feel complete and worthy of being me. Combining all of my attributes has made me more effective as a mother and a person. Embracing who I am will allow me to reach others through counseling and public speaking. Too often people don't utilize their full potential. Instead, they continue to search for themselves, in others, and end up lost. Unable to put the pieces together, they contin
