This collection of problems and examples is intended to accompany and to supplement my treatise on theD ifferential Calculus (B oston, Ginn Company). The chapters correspond to the chapters in that book and the references are to its sections. A slightly fuller treatment of definite integrals and of development in series than that in the original text is indicated and illustrated, and brief explanations and suggestions are given when they seem to me to be needed.
