Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Judith Kachinske has 10 years of experience in grant writing and grants management. She currently serves as an Assistant Instructional Supervisor of Grants and Monitoring for Prince George's County Public Schools in Maryland. Judith has a B.A. in English from Macalester College and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College). Timothy Kachinske has extensive experience in grant writing. Over a period of 17 years he served as a development officer and grant writer at a number of educational institutions and nonprofit organizations, including a liberal arts college (Ripon College), a research university (The Catholic University of America), an international science organization (American Institute of Physics), an overseas American college (American University in Bulgaria), a social services delivery agency (Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Institute) and an independent school (St. Albans School). Currently Tim continues development work as a consultant designing contact, grants management, fundraising, and member management database systems for nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. He specializes in using applications designed for sales and marketing and adapting this technology effectively in the nonprofit world. Tim holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and an M.A. from the University of Minnesota. He is a veteran of the US Army with 16 months overseas duty. Tim is a Microsoft Certified Professional with core competencies in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft SharePoint.
