Before she came to the USA, she was the Chinese language program supervisor at the Institute for the International Education of Students (IES) Beijing program. 王郁林 Wang, Yu-lin. B.A. and M.A. in Chinese Literature. She has taught classical and modern Chinese at the Inter-University Program (Taipei), Middlebury Summer Language School, Connecticut College, San Francisco State University and Yale University.
