Joseph Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936) was an English author and poet, born in India, and best known for his works "The Jungle Book" (1894), "Just So Stories" (1902), and "Puck of Pook's Hill" (1906). Kipling was one of the most popular writers in English in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
