TREE GOD: Behind the Iron Curtain is the story of how in 1969 a snotty-nosed young lad from Bolton set off expectantly to the Soviet Union to work as a Materials Engineer. Over those three memorable years in a town called Mogilev in Belarus, he met people who would change his life forever, and none more than Larissa. During this time he witnessed sights and shared experiences that beggar belief. He returned from Mogilev, still a snotty-nosed lad from Bolton, but now he had a future. He had someone to share his life with. This story includes humour, adventure, self-discovery and ultimately, love and romance. And this is all true. Then we have a twist in the tale...
Biografía del autor
Alan Hamer was born in Bolton, Lancashire in 1948. He has been happily married for over 35 years and has 2 grown up children. Alan enjoys fishing and supporting his local football team Bolton Wanderers. TREE GOD: Behind the Iron Curtain is his first novel.
