Elizabeth Brokamp a licensed professional counselor, knows that "friendship circles are a big source of both pleasure and stress for girls." She worked for many years as a school counselor and currently maintains a private practice. She lives with her husband and four children (three of whom are girls) near Washington, D.C.

Joni Stringfield loves creating all types of illustration, especially children's book art, including the art for Circle of Three. "This story touched me because it reminded me of my own childhood," she says. "I went through similar situations, but mostly I remember the great friendships, and I'm still thankful for them". She lives in San Francisco.
