Over the years our faith in Christ matures, in part, as a consequence of the inspiration produced within the congregations to which we belong, the Church School classes we attend, and the services of worship on which we concentrate while distracted by family and friends in the discomfort of remarkably uncomfortable pews. However, it is only when we take that inspiration home that our faith truly grows. Therefore, both church and home contribute to building our faith into what it is at any given moment. The View from the Pew is a compilation of actual events experienced, observed, or heard over many years. These have been fictionalized into parables set in the ongoing life of a delightful family of four.
