Yu Tao is an assistant professor of sociology and the director of Gender and Cultural Studies at Stevens Institute of Technology. Willie Pearson, Jr., is a professor of sociology at Georgia Institute of Technology. He is the coeditor of Advancing Women in Science: An International Perspective.
