This outrageous series was the brainchild of legendary cartoonist Art Spiegelman, who, in collaboration with artists Mark Newgarden, John Pound, Tom Bunk, Jay Lynch, and James Warhola, created a pop-culture phenomenon.

The book includes a introduction by Spiegelman and an afterword by Pound.

The Topps Company, Inc., founded in 1938, is the preeminent creator and brand marketer of sports cards, entertainment products, and distinctive confectionery. Art Spiegelman is an American comics writer, artist, and editor best known for his Pulitzer Prize–winning graphic novel memoir, Maus. John Pound began his art career by drawing underground comix, and was one of a handful of creators who started the San Diego Comic-Con.He has painted art prints, book covers, comic covers, posters, skateboards, trading cards, and hundreds of Garbage Pail Kids and Wacky Packages stickers for Topps.
