Inhaltsangabe

The Scratch & Sniff Book of Weed is an entertaining, informative, and whimsically illustrated tour through 4,000 years of marijuana and its significance—psychoactive, cultural, medical, sexual, and more—with 20 scratch-&-sniff scents.

Legal in all 50 states and "makes for a fun stoned read and a great gift.” ―High Times

Reading and sniffing this totally cool book is amazing because it includes:

  • The science behind the munchies
  • The botanical link between weed and beer
  • Weed’s sexual upsides and (literal) downsides
  • Tupac to Shakespeare
  • Why weed makes music sound better
  • And lots of smells! Twenty of them!

Authors Seth Matlins and Eve Epstein write, “Know why cannabis is the most widely used illicit substance in the world? Because it’s awesome, that’s why.” They then go on to explore the neurological, historical, physiological, psychological, sexual, cultural, and political world of weed.

It turns out, as every stoner and enthusiast has learned, that smoking, vaping, or eating marijuana cues a release of dopamine in your system that boosts your receptivity to pleasure, whether in the form of music, sex, or, as the authors say, “Cool Ranch Doritos.”

Marijuana’s impact travels beyond our bodies and minds, though. It has touched our culture, industry, politics, spirituality, music, art, and more. You don’t have to drop out, but maybe you should turn on to this book, which may just be the greatest-ever gift for anyone from the cannabis connoisseur to the cannabis curious.

“Has a sense of humor, but it’s also educational.” ―USA Today
