Jim Carreraand Sean Marsh began a small study of human attraction in 1978 as two collegegraduates with an interest in men who were highly successful with women.� Though only in their twenties at the time,they began to determine why some men struggle with their effort to attractwomen and others seem to attract women effortlessly.� Sean Marsh, after earning his masters, teamedup with Jim Carrera again in 1980 to study a smalltest group of men for common traits that make them successful with women.� The effort was considered to be successfulfor a standardized Psychological study, but the only determining factors werethe social, cultural, and personality classifications of these men.� In 1981, Jim and Sean teamed up again for along term study of male dominance, this time using a more unconventionalapproach.� Their goal was to observe theinvoluntary, primitive human behavior without cultural or socialinfluences.� This was a break throughstudy in the field of Psychology, and the first of its kind to analyze humaninstincts in relation to sexual attraction and male dominance.� The discovery that physical appearance andpersonality play only secondary roles explains why so many publications meantto help men have failed.�� In 2001, witha twenty year study of male dominance completed, Jim and Sean collaboratedagain for the publication of the common behaviors of dominant men along with aroadmap to achieve male dominance and success with women.� The result is 'The Tao of Male SexAppeal'.��
