Brigitte Goldstein is a freelance literary translator and editor. She holds a Ph.D. degree in European History from New York University and a certificate in French Civilization from the Sorbonne. Before working in publishing as a production editor, she taught college-level courses in Western Civilization, European Social History, and the History of European Women. She is fluent in French and German and has several published translations of German literary works to her credit.
