Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Marcia Stewart has been a Nolo editor and author since 1989, writing and editing books on landlord-tenant law, real estate, and other consumer issues. She is the co-author of Every Landlord's Legal Guide, Every Tenant's Legal Guide, and Renters' Rights. Ralph "Jake" Warner is widely recognized as a pioneer of the do-it-yourself law movement. Warner co-founded Nolo in 1972 and began publishing do-it-yourself law books. He is the author or co-author several other Nolo titles including Get a Life and Everybody s Guide to Small Claims Court. Janet Portman specializes in residential and commercial landlord/tenant law, legal issues related to courts, landlords and tenants, and neighbor disputes. Her other books include Every Landlord's Legal Guide and Every Tenant's Legal Guide. She is also a nationally syndicated columnist whose Rent It Right column appears in the Los Angeles Times, and The Boston Globe among many others
