Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Barry Letts was producer, director and executive producer on Doctor Who between 1967 and 1981. In 1993, Letts wrote a new Doctor Who radio production, The Paradise of Death, and this was followed in 1995 by The Ghosts of N-Space. Letts has since written several original Doctor Who novels, and has also completed the first part of an autobiography called Who & Me, published in an online format in 2006, and as an abridged audiobook in 2008.

Victor Pemberton was a scriptwriter who also worked as an actor to supplement his writing income. This led to director Morris Barry casting him in Doctor Who (The Moonbase). After a brief stint writing and script-editing Doctor Who in the mid-Sixties, Victor wrote numerous other scripts for radio and television, including Doctor Who and the Pescatons, and produced Fraggle Rock. In 1990, Headline Books invited Pemberton to write a novelisation of a drama series he had penned called Our Family. This was published in 1991 and led to a successful career as a novelist. To date he has published fifteen ‘family saga’ novels, including Where the Swallows Come Again.

Bernard Venables wrote the Doctor Who radio play Exploration Earth: The Time Machine, the third instalment of a BBC schools radio series intended to teach children about the geography of our planet. It was broadcast on 4 October 1976, and saw the Doctor and Sarah Jane travelling back in time to witness the process of the Earth's creation.

Adrian Mourby is an award-winning writer and producer. He won the Sony Silver Award for Creative Writing on Radio for his Whatever Happened To... series, which explored the further adventures of some well-known fictional characters. He has also written several novels and a variety of travel guides, and is an acclaimed travel journalist.

Eric Saward was script editor on Doctor Who from 1982 to 1986. He also wrote four serials for the show - The Visitation, Earthshock, Resurrection of the Daleks and Revelation of the Daleks - as well as the short story Birth of a Renegade, the radio play Slipback and several Target novelisations.
