Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Chris Dickie has been writing about photography for 25 years. He was Editor and Publisher of the British Journal of Photography from 1987-2003. For the past 5 years he has been publishing the quarterly fine art photo journal Ag. He has written numerous books on the subject of photography and he is an Honorary Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography.

They include the early pioneers such as Daguerre, famous photojournalists such as Don McCullin, and Robert Capa, famous portrait artists such as Julia Margaret Cameron and Annie Leibovitz, fashion photographers such as Cecil Beaton and Mario Testino and art photographers such as Bill Brandt and Ansel Adams. There are also 10 theme spreads on subjects such as politics, the Magnum Agency, and women in photography. All in all, this is a complete pocket guide to this fascinating subject.
