She is the winner of the 2009 Classics Association Prize for 'a significant contribution to the public understanding of Classics'. In addition to the million-selling THE ROMAN MYSTERIES sequence, Caroline Lawrence is writing THE ROMAN MYSTERY SCROLLS and also mining the rich vein of American history with THE WESTERN MYSTERIES. She lives in London by the river with her husband, Richard.
