George Papadopoulos lives an extraordinary life. A much traveled man, he notched up millions of air miles before the phrase was even coined. Post war he served ten years in the Merchant Navy, working his way up to Chief Engineer. Going 'ashore 'in the fifties, he started his own shipping business that soon saw boom ¿but then bust with the oil crisis of 1973 -74.
