Inhaltsangabe

In the aftermath of World War I, the bohemian art scene explodes onto Paris -- much to the chagrin of the rich and powerful Arbogast family. Surrealist painter Judith Benoir wants desperately to make a splash -- even if it means ignoring the warnings of others. And as The Creeper, she escalates  simple cat burglaries into spectacular art crimes, establishing her as a cultural icon. But what are the true motivations behind The Creeper's actions? And how long before her antics spiral out of control and the law closes in?

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Jason Hall co-created the critically-acclaimed PISTOLWHIP series of books published by Top Shelf. This includes writing Mephisto and the Empty Box and Pistolwhip: The Yellow Menace. (Back in his more reckless college years, he also wrote/directed a short movie where he played "Jack Peril" - the character's first appearance - and actually rode on top of and was hit by a speeding car!)

For DC, he's written the critically-acclaimed Vertigo miniseries Beware The Creeper, the creator-owned Vertigo series Trigger, and has contributed to Batman Adventures, Justice League Adventures, Justice League Unlimited, Ben 10, Superman, and Detective Comics. For Dark Horse, he's written the third volume of the Hellboy Animated graphic novels, the "Official Hellboy Timeline" for the Hellboy Companion, multiple stories for Star Wars Tales and Clone Wars Adventures, as well as The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist, the adaptation of the horror film The Messengers, and created/wrote the Rocket Comics series Crush. In addition, he's written a young reader's guide to the Justice League cartoon for DK Publishing.
