What do Book Bands mean?
Many reading schemes use coloured book bands to indicate the level of their books. Using book bands helps children, parents and teachers know which books are suitable to read at each stage of the child's reading journey

Book Band: Blue
Following on from the Yellow Bands, the quantity of text gradually increases to approximately six lines per page. Books may include some abstract terms and non-fiction will include some sub-headings.
