When coming home from working at a “special” camp for handicapped children high in the mountains of northwestern Montana, their car goes over a cliff on a steep mountain turn. Toni Glasgow and Sally Edwards are in the car and both are seriously hurt. A daring rescue brings them up from the bottom of the canyon where the car had landed and they are rushed to a hospital in Whitefish, Montana. They are flown out of Whitefish. Toni to a Billings hospital and Sally to a Denver hospital.
