She is the Chair of China Association of Ecolinguistics (CAoE) and the Representative of the Systemic Functional Linguistics field in International Ecolinguistics Association (IEA).

Ruijie Zhang is Associate Professor of School of Foreign Studies at University of Science and Technology Beijing. She is on the Board of Directors of China Association of Ecolinguistics (CAoE) and is a Fellow of the International Ecolinguistics Association (IEA).
