IN offering to the public the following collection of addresses on the Labour Question I publish nothing that is new. I venture, however, to believe that the encouragement, which I have received, in my labours in the exposition of sound doctrines on work and wages to the rank and file of the armies of industry, may induce more competent teachers to work in the same field. The soil is fruitful; but it demands.
