Where can you. Find. A better field of labour than; in England? Go' to France, and you baveno freedom of action and a Constant dread of revolution. Go to Russia, and you meet despotism all rampant. GO to the United States, and you find that better wages are scarcely equivalent to the' higher cost of living. Go to any of the British Colonies, andryou must be prepared to Work harder far than you are doing in this'country, and to bid adieu to every association and to all the pleasures of civilized life. Nowhere, indeed, is labour more appreciated, nay, I might. Say more ennobledythan in this country, and no: where is an ampler field afforded for its application.
