Excerpt from Popular Garden Botany: Containing a Familiar and Scientific Description
Those also who wish to study the botanical characters Of their plants, will find. Them here arranged systematically, with the proper scientific descriptions according to their orders and genera; but to those whose taste does not incline them to the study, the Work will not be the less valuable, as the scientific part may be altogether omitted, without destroying its utility.
