To understand and suitably improve these truths, are in the highest degree important. The passage of our text seems to teach us that this is necessary to eternal life. This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. This is the declaration of Jesus Christ himself, who is the truth. It is therefore worthy of all accept. Anon.
