Excerpt from 24th Report of the State Entomologist on Injurious and Other Insects of the State of New York, 1908
I have the honor of presenting herewith my report On the injurious and other insects of the State of New York for the year ending October 15, 1908.
A number of species have inflicted serious injuries upon both fruit and shade trees. A most interesting phenomenon was the wide spread and abundant flight of the snow-white linden moth. An unusual feature was the capture, within the limits of the city of Albany, of two Specimens of a small, green, subtropical cock roach.
