This book is intended for students commencing the study of Logic. It is an elementary exposition of the subject on traditional lines. Modern logicians have added many refine ments to the analysis Which has been generally received since the days of Aristotle. But the more subtle questions of criticism can only be appreciated intelligently after the elements of the subject have been mastered. A brief account of the more important reforms in logical doctrine is given in the Appendix now added.
