The solemn words of the Fraction were repeated. The elements were delivered to the people and passed reverently from one to another as each man served his brother.

The elements were returned to the table, a prayer of thanksgiving said, a hymn sung, a blessing given, and we quietly returned to our broken down shacks and our hard, narrow sleeping places.
