There will be but two Eclipses this year, and both of the Sun.

I. The first will be a total eclipse of the sun, on the 15th day of March, 9h. 29m. In the morn ing, invisible in the United States on account of the Moon's great southern latitude.

II. The second will be an annular eclipse of the sun, September 7ih, 5h. 37m. In the evening, also invisible:1839.
