Having had an Opportunity of observing a number of cases Of Pustule Maligne, and having had recited to me the history of other cases that have occurred in this country, I selected it as a fit subject for an Inaugural Essay, not only from its own specific interest, but also with the hope Of turning some atten tion to the study of a disease, that, as far as I can discover, has not been treated of by any American surgeon.
