Music Director Donald Doig and the chorus were groomed in traditional African dress and the room was peppered with spiritual-energy emitting from those upon the stage unto the audience. Children from Chicago State's day care center made up the majority of the audience. They sat attentively as the chorus went into its first number. Pres. Dr. Do lores Cross was in attendance.
