AN apology is due to the publick, for the delay which has attended the publication of the directory. It was contem plated to publish it early in January, but circumstances which could not be foreseen, have delayed it for nearly two months, and now that it is forthcoming, it is feared it will hardly gratify the expectations which have been formed of it.
