Being interrogated, he depofed, that all the drivers, coache men, domeftics, and confidential negroes, of the neighbouring plantations and adjacent diftriéts, had formed a plot to let fire to the plantations and to murder all the whites. He marked out, as ring-leaders, feveral negroes of his mal'ter's plantation, four of Flaville's, (fituated at Jazz], three leagues from the Cape,) and the negro Paul, eriver on Blin's planta tion atrlimbé.
