Excerpt from Minutes of the Thirty-Second Annual Session of the Unity Baptist Association: Held With Clanton Baptist Church, Chilton Co;, Ala;, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, October 2d, 3d, 4th, 1886
1. The Unity Baptist Association assembled in its Thirty-Second Annual Session with the Clanton Baptist Church, Chilton county, Ala., on Saturday, October 2, 1886. At 11 A. M. the introductory sermon was preached by Rev. Hardy Jones, from the last clause of the 12th verse, 2d chapter of Phillippians.
2. At 2 P. M. the Messengers from the Churches assembled in the church building and were called to order by the Moderator. A. J. Brooks.
3. After reading the 8th Psalm and singing " What a Friend we have in Jesus," the Association was led in prayer by Eld. Geo. W. Mills.
Elds. W. N. Huckabee and W. J. Ruddick read the letters from the Churches.
