Every successful process owes its existence to a laboratory, which works out the details of efficient treatment and alters them as conditions demand. The object of this book is to furnish a laboratory guide, both for investigating a new ore and for conducting the laboratory of an operating mill. It should be helpful to the student and beginner, and it is hoped that it may also be of assistance to the more experienced.
