Excerpt from The Journal of the House of Representatives of the Second Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Alaska: Held at Juneau the Capital of Alaska Beginning March 1, 1915, and Ending April 29, 1915

Mr. Getchell, of the Second, nominated Barry Keown, of Nome, for Chief Clerk, seconded by Mr. Britt.

There being no further nominations, the Chair declared the nominations closed, and instructed the Clerk to cast the ballot of the House for Barry Keown for Clerk.

The Clerk cast the ballot, and Barry Keown was elected Chief Clerk of the House.
