Trinitarians and Unitarians may unite in a society' for general education.

In like manner most of the essential doctrines of Christianity have occasioned differences of Opi nion or belief, and eircited controversy among pro fessing Christians; and the ardour of the contro versy has generally been in preportion to the sup s posed importance of the question in dispute Upon all such doctrines, however, youth must rei rnain totally uninstructed, if Mr. Lancaster's, principle be carried into effect. But when, in conformity with that principle, he has excluded from his system of religious education all instruo tion upon subjects about which the various deno minations of Christians differ, he will find that he has excluded Christianity itself: for the religion which will remain, when, in compliment to the numerous sects of professing Christians, all the.
