Christian Baptism Spiritual, Not Ritual (Classic Reprint) - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Rethink baptism beyond ritual. This book argues that true baptism is spiritual action, not merely a rite.

Robert Macnair presents a scripture-based case for understanding baptism as a depth of spiritual experience. The work surveys key passages, especially in the Acts narrative, and explains how baptism can signify the Spirit’s work in a believer rather than a fixed external ritual.

• Defines the distinction between water baptism and Spirit baptism.
• Explores how terms and phrases in Acts and related texts shape a spiritual reading.
• Offers a framework for interpreting difficult passages without abandoning core biblical claims.
• Addresses practical outcomes for faith, life, and spiritual renewal in a contemporary setting.

Ideal for readers of biblical studies, church history, and anyone exploring how scripture speaks to spiritual action today.
