Aware that she must, before long, be taken from them, she was induced to prepare this little work, in order that she might leave it to them as a token of her solicitude for their improvement and hap piness. She hopes it may be useful to them', and to other young persons, by directing their attention to the Gospel ophrist, and enabling them to read the New Testament with more pleasure and advantage, and that they may be induced to make the sacred Scriptures the oh ject of their daily study, the rule of their life, and their guide to everlasting happiness.
