The term science is also used to mean, (a) knowledge verified by scientific tests; (6) the most lately discovered facts or truths in any depart ment of science (c) unwarranted inferences drawn from scientific facts. Much of the supposed conﬂict between science and religion is due to these unwarranted inferences. (d) pseudo-science used by skeptics.
