Russian History, of which vol. I. Was published in 1872 a St. Petersburg. I may add to the list Pogodin's Drewzaya Russkaya [storz'a, &c. [ancient Russian History up to the Mongol yoke], 3 vols, Moscow, 1871, accompanied by an atlas containing some 200 engravings. Among smaller books to which I am indebted may be mentioned Petrushevsky's spirited Tales about Old Russian Days [razskazué Fourth Edition; St. Petersburg, 1873.
